Joanna Bellis Wilkinson graduated from Mount Vernon High School in Missouri and pursued a degree in Commercial Art Graphic Design at Southwest Baptist University (SBU). Having a passion and call for ministry, she completed her graduate studies at Memphis Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Youth Ministry while working as a Youth Minister, in the Nashville area.

Starting as early as junior high people came to Joanna for design, photography and video needs. After high school graduation, Joanna continued to gain practical experience throughout her college education at SBU where she served as the Director of Publicity for the University Activities Council. This role required her to create promotional print materials, videos and start social media accounts (which were new at the time) for campus events.

During college, she started building her clientele as a freelance graphic designer. Since 2009 she has developed websites, produced videos and designed graphics for promotional events, print publications, and apparel for a variety of clients including local businesses, churches, schools, farms, ag media, and individuals. So when Honey Creek first came to fruition Joanna began taking steps to make it her full-time commitment knowing this vision with her sister would be a dream come true.

Joanna also grew up calling the Ozarks home but pursued opportunities after college leading to 5 years in Nashville where she met her husband Neal Wilkinson who hails from Northern Ireland. Following Nashville, they lived in Memphis for 2.5 years and then moved back to her roots of Southwest Missouri where they now reside in Lebanon near family. Joanna and her husband Neal had their first child Nora, in November 2019 and couldn’t be happier being parents to her.
